spaced microphone arrays into ambisonics

Kuules Spaced is a way in for microphone arrays whose capsules sit apart — an ORTF pair, a spaced omni tree, a soundfield built from separate microphones on separate stands.
When capsules are apart, a sound reaches one before another. That arrival-time difference isn't an error to correct. It's the array's own account of where the sound came from, and Spaced keeps it.
What the array doesn't fully carry is the matching level difference. How much it has depends on the capsules: directional ones already lean toward the side a sound came from, omnis barely at all. So the two cues can disagree, and the image drifts between them. Spaced works out the level term from the geometry you describe and completes it, so timing and level point the same way.
The geometry is the whole game. It can't be recovered from the audio — how many capsules, where they sit, which way they point, what pattern they are. Describe the array wrongly and it encodes confidently and wrongly. If you change the rig, change the description.
Capsule positions, directions and patterns, entered as measured. Presets cover the common arrays; anything else you can type in.
The cue a spaced array does not fully carry, computed from the geometry and put back so timing and level agree.
Three controls named for what they do to the sound, or the whole array model when you want it.
